We are now a newly converted Charitable Incorporated Organisation as of September 2022. A Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) is a corporate form of business designed for charitable organisations only. We decided that becoming a CIO would be the way forward for us as a pre-school and would help benefit the pre-school and the children that attend by enabling us to apply for grants that improve the facilities and resources for the children’s education. The objectives of us being a charity are to:
- Enhance and advance the educational environment of the pupils of the school and
- Foster relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school (including the local community).
- Raise funds to enrich the opportunities for the children by organising fund raising and social activities.
